- Overview -

The SCS-CARRY (Solar Charging Sight) is a direct attachment optic for slim, carry-sized sub-compact handguns. It is designed to attach directly to HOLOSUN-K slide cuts, or to RMSc cut slides with the included adapter plate. The SCS-CARRY uses our innovative solar charging system with multi-directional light sensors to automatically adjust brightness in dynamic lighting situations. The SCS can potentially operate indefinitely with its internal, rechargeable 20,000-hour battery.

Solar Failsafe™

Solar Failsafe Technology is one of many innovations featured on solar-equipped Holosun optics. With Solar Failsafe, if your battery fails you always have a backup power source when natural or artificial light is available. Solar Failsafe is activated while in Auto Mode where reticle intensity is automatically adjusted based on the amount of light the solar cell receives. In brighter conditions you have a brighter reticle and in lower-light conditions the reticle will step down in intensity to match any lighting conditions. On models equipped with a super capacitor, it is possible to run the optic, indefinitely, in daytime and night conditions, by maintaining a charge through the Solar Failsafe System all without a battery.

Multiple Reticle System

Multi-reticle System (MRS) equipped Holosun optics allow you to determine the type of aiming point you want to use when you want to use it. Holosun optics equipped with MRS let you select a fast sight picture for shorter distances with a 65 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot (rifle optics) or a 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot (handgun optics). The large circle can help you obtain a sight picture faster, allows for a hold-over reference, and helps to guide your eye to the 2 MOA dot. The large ring can be deactivated leaving just the 2 MOA dot for an uncluttered sight picture and increased precision. Regardless of your application, Holosun’s Multi-reticle System offers the ultimate in optical sight customization for sportsman and professional users alike.
